"Another day in Paradise" has become the first day ...

in retirement paradise for our beloved Paul Mitts, head custodian, who has retired after 20 plus years of tending SFBC with tenacity, faithfulness, superb skill, and inimitable humor!  We will be honoring him shortly in a good-by brunch ... and THEN I will go to the staff meeting and share.
   My desire is that this blog would become a busy hub for Biblical teaching and interactive ideas on parenting, raising children to be fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and maybe how to stay in love with your spouse in the process!  There are so many ways this site can bless, encourage, help, edify and be a forum for all that we, as the Body of Christ, can share through the fascinating portal of technology.
   I look forward to sharing insights and having you all post your thoughts and ideas born of the experience of your daily life and walk with Christ.  As we sojourn together may we be the true messengers of love and encouragement that the Holy Spirit enables us to be.  And let it be in the fun and sweet camaraderie with which we've been blessed!

The very first ever Children's Ministry Blog from SFBC!

Thanks to a magnificent staff and progressive, forward-thinking and inspirational Pastor, who pushed me WAY PAST MY COMFORT ZONE to ponder the potential of technology to SFBC ... here is the first day of a long-time dream.  My own blog.  And I realize, even as anticipating a new day through the first light in the eastern sky ... the potential is endless!  Now on to the staff meeting with a report about this very simple beginning =)
